Knowledge, skills: - By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to review vocabularies and structures from unit 11 to unit 20. - Develop Ss speaking, listening skills. 2. Competence development - Critical Thinking: talk about friends - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Self-control and independent learning: perform listening tasks. 3. Quality - Kindness: Help partners to complete learning tasks. - Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions. - Diligence: complete learning tasks. II. TEACHING AIDS 1. Teacher: - Board, chalk, textbooks, computer accessed to the Internet, TV, picture cards. 2. Students: - Books, notebooks, workbooks. III. PROCEDURES Teacher’s activities Student’s activities 1.Warm- up Game: Whispering *Aims: to review the vocabulary and structure about greet and respond to greetings. *Procedure: - Divide class into 2 groups. - Ss listen. -Ask 5 Ss in each group stand in a straight line. - Ss play game. Read and match *Aims: Ss will be able to read and match pairs of target sentence patterns *Procedure: - Tell Ss about this activity. Point at sentence -Ss look at the sentence 1 and say 1, elicit the answer and models. - Give Ss work in pairs to do the sentence -Ss work in pairs and match 2,3,4,5. - Tell Ss to swap their books with their partners, then check answers together as a -Ss swap their books and match class. - Write the correct answers on the board for -Ss check Ss to correct their answers. -Ss read aloud - Invite some pairs to stand up and read the matched exchanges aloud. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge, skills: - By the end of the lesson students will be able to: - Revise key vocabulary and sentence patterns by doing the crossword with the picture cues and completing the gapped sentences using the words from the crossword - Prepare the questions, interview one of their friends and write down the answers. - Develop Ss listening, reading, speaking skills. 2. Competence development - Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work. - Sociability: Talk to each other, say good words to others. 3. Quality - Kindness: Help partners to complete learning tasks. - Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions. II. TEACHING AIDS 1. Do the puzzle: *Aims: Ss will be able to revise key vocabulary and sentence patterns by doing the crossword with the picture cues and completing the gapped sentences using the words from the crossword. *Procedure: - Have Ss look at the puzzle and ask: Who do you see in the pictures? -Ss look at the puzzle and - Stick the flash cards of the words, one by one, on the answer board. - - Ss note - Point to each word on the board, and have Ss say the word as a class. - Ss say the word - Point at Picture 1, elicit the word, write it in the crossword as an example. - Ss look and write - Ask Ss to repeat the same procedure with the other picture cues. - Check the answers as a class. -Ss find the words - Key: -Ss check their answer Activity 2.
