1. Lesson plan 6.7 Grade 7: Planning date: 10/9/2021 Period: 1 INTRODUCTION & REVISION A. AIMS OF THE LESSON I. Knowledge By the end of this lesson, students will be able to : - Get to know the teacher and the book “English 7”. - Know how to learn this subject effectively. - Review some knowledge they learnt. II. Ability : - During lesson students can develop ability to self- study and problem- solving. III. Quality : - Students have positive attitude in English language learning. - Students wil build their love for class and school. B. TEACHING AIDS - Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, class CDs, projector or TV - Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks, workbooks. C. PROCEDURE I. Warm-up: Listening to English song. -Ask Ss to listen to a song on youtobe: Chatting: - Teacher introduce himself/herself then ask Ss some normal questions. II. Presentation: Activity 1. Trong đó chú trọng phát triển 2 kỹ năng: nghe, nói. -Vào cuối năm học, học sinh cần đạt trình độ tương đương cấp độ A2 của Khung tham chiếu châu Âu về ngôn ngữ (giai đoạn 1). - Ss listen and take note. Activity 2: Introduce to learning methods. - Teacher introduces to learning methods. - Mỗi tuần có 3 tiết tiếng anh, cả năm có 105 tiết học cho 2 học kỳ 1 và 2. + Mỗi học kỳ có các em sẽ có một số bài kiểm tra thường xuyên, 1 bài kiểm tra giữa kỳ và 1 bài kiểm tra cuối kỳ ( Trước mỗi bài kiểm tra giữa kỳ và cuối kỳ chúng ta có các tiết ôn tập để giúp các em có kết quả tốt trong quá trình làm bài), bài kiểm tra giữa kỳ và cuối kỳ sẽ khiển tra các khiến thức về ngữ pháp, các kỹ năng: đọc, nghe, viết, còn kỷ năng nói sẽ được thầy/ cô bố trí xen lẫn trong các bài kiểm tra thường xuyên. - Ss listen and take note. III. Revision. - Review all the tense students learnt in English 6. IV. Homework - Prepare the first lesson. Planning date: 11 /9 /2021 Period 2 Unit 1: MY HOBBIES Lesson 1: Gettingstarted I. AIMS OF THE LESSON. 1. Knowledge. - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to master the structure of English 7 and know some basic vocabulary about the topic “my hobbies” and understand the conversation 2. Ability: - Students can improve their 2 skills: Listening and reading - Students can develop the ability to communicate and cooperate with their partners, to self-study, to solve problems in conversation situations. - Students can develop their conversation skills through some useful language used in the lesson. 3. 3. - Students have positive attitude in English language learning so that they actively participate in all classroom activities, especially with the topic “Hobbies” conducted by the teacher. - Students can show their care and responsibility to the environment. (Looking back and project) 5.What are the skills of the part Skills 1 ? (listeing and speaking) 6.LN ! 7.What is the name of Unit 2? (My health) 8.How many parts are there in each Unit? What are they ? (7) ( Getting started, closer look 1, closer look 2, communication, skills 1, skills 2 and looking back & project ) 9.LN ! 10.What is the last part of English 7? (Glossary) B. Pre- reading: I. Set the scene: - T gives out the picture and asks Ss: + Can you guess who they are ? + Where are they ? + What can you see on the shelf ? What may the hobby be ? - Ss answer the question 1 , then teacher introduces Elena , Nick’s sister . Quickly writes Ss’s answers to question 2 and 3 on the board . II. Listen and repeat - Ss listen to the recording and repeat the words or phrases . Matching - Ss work individually to match the words or phrases from 2 with the pictures . Have them compare their answers with the partners . Ask for Ss’s answers . Introduce to text books. - T introduces the new book “I learn smart word”. + Sách Tiếng Anh 6 i-Learn Smart World là sách dành cho học sinh lớp 6 THCS, do NXB Đại học Sư phạm Tp.HCM kết hợp cùng Tập đoàn Giáo dục Đại Trường Phát biên soạn theo Chương trình giáo dục phổ thông (ban hành theo Thông tư số 32/2018/TT-BGDĐT ngày 26 tháng 12 năm 2018), nhằm giúp học sinh bậc THCS đạt được mục tiêu chung về năng lực tiếng Anh: A2 bậc 2 cũng như Khung tham chiếu trình độ ngôn ngữ chung Châu Âu CEFR (A2). 1. 8. IV. Homework - Prepare the first lesson. Planning date: 10/9/2021 Period 2 UNIT 1: HOME Lesson 1 : New words + Listening( p6) A. AIMS OF THE LESSON I. Knowledge By the end of this lesson, students will be able to : - Know some words about home. - Use present simple to talk about things that are facts or true for a long time. - Listen to a short dialogue to develop listening skill. - Know how to use the expression ‘Excuse me’ II. Ability : - During lesson students can develop communication skills and creativity. - Student will demonstrate teamwork skills III. Quality : - Students have positive attitude in English language learning to participate in all classroom activities with the topic “ Home ” - Students wil Build their love for family, homes and community after lesson.

TEACHING AIDS - Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector or TV - Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks, workbooks. C. PROCEDURE I. Warm-up: Guessing game: - Teacher shows chain of pictures of places. - After watching, A Student comes to the board and receive flashcard of the places they have just seen. Pick out the ones they saw. - Other students guess the place by giving questions Yes/ No. Suggested Q&A: Is that a living room?- No Is that a garden?- Yes - At the end of the game, Teacher introduces new lesson. II. Presentation: Activity 1. Teach new words. - Use pictures to introduce the new words: New words: 1. pool (n) 2. balcony (n) 3. apartment (n) 4. garage (n) 5. gym (n) 6. yard (n) - Have students listen and repeat each new word. (chorally – individually) - Correct student’s pronunciation if necessary. Checking new word: - Have students look at the pictures, and fill in the blanks with words given. Yard Activity 2: watching a video clip, name the places. - Teacher shows a video clip made about an apartment. - Have students watch the video, pause sometimes for students to name the places. (Balcony, kitchen, bedroom, living room, yard, pool, garage).

Practice: Activity 3: Speaking: - Teacher makes example sentences with new words. - Ask students to work in pairs, talk about their house, using new words. (exercise b/p. 6) - Some pairs present in front of the class. - Teacher checks and corrects. Example. My house has a balcony. There’s a small yard in front of my house... Activity 4: Listening. - Teacher shows the picture of the task, asks students some questions about it. (exercise a/p. 6) Suggested Q&A: How many people are there? – Three people Are they family members? - No Are they classmates? – Yes. - Teacher has students work in pairs, read the sentences, guess the answers (exercise b/p. 6) - Listen and check their guess (listen the 1st time) - Listen again to check their answers. - Teacher checks and corrects.
